LeMans Series

Based on the success and interest of the last LeMans race hosted by HVSC, I'd like to see if there is any interest in having a series based on the same classic LeMans cars from Fly and Scalextric, with possible additions (see below).

1. Is there any interest?

2. We can possibly run 1, 2 or 3 times a year at different clubs (already have KevinJ, MarcG and BobM on board as hosts)

3. Maybe alternate or compliment the current NEC races

Just wanted to thank everyone that attended our Lemans/stock slot it race. Also I would also give a special thanks to Rob and the crew at Bud's HO. Rob you and your guys did a great job helping us at HVSC make our friends from various north east slot clubs feel welcome. I think all would agree that we had a great time at both the Friday and Saturday races. We will post with race results and pictures soon........

On behalf of HVSC , I want to thank everyone that showed up Fri night for the Slotit race at Buds, Dickie won that one, it was a blast and the main event on Sat which Bob (mether05) and I took the overall win, and Slot Car Corner for the great hats. Thanks guys, we hope to have everyone back for another great event in the near future. Dickie took some pics so we should have them up with the results.

Rules and class info for the 60s-70s Lemans race at HVSC Sat.Dec 12th

Hey guys, we would like to invite racers to attend an upcoming event at HVSC on our 4 lane Ogilvie in Cortland Manor NY. It will be an enduro style event for 60s and 70s LeMans cars made by Fly and Scaly. We are limiting to these 2 brands to make it a little easier in car selection. Basically, any car that ran a 24hr of LeMans is eligible, Ferrarris, GT40s, Porsches etc. We would like to get enough racers so we could have 2 man teams. We are also thinking about cycling the lights to a dusk...

I wanted to let everyone know about a great event that we at PSAR are going to be putting on next month. On August 16th we will be holding the Karen Swartz Cancer Charity Event. Karen is a local woman who was diagnosed with cancer and recently had a large tumor removed from her brain.
