I had a great time running there on the First!!! Everyone made me feel like I've been racing with them for years, what a fun bunch of racers!!! I want to thank Cliff for "rusting" my cars and Rick & Dickie for tuning them a lil B-4 the wrecking, I mean racing!!! But Jungle did the most tuning on the old #9 when he locked wheels with Dickie and sent it over the wall and to the floor!!! I laughed so hard that I had tears in my eyes and found it hard to keep racing after...

taken a car, upgraded the guide, put in a Slot.it rear, gear, hubs, Super Tires etc.. and the car runs slower times then when it was stock! Just went through this with a Fly Chevron, just could not get good times after I upgraded and tuned it (8.3). I was trying to prep it as my future Fly LeMans entry. Then I put the stock components back in and the times dropped by .2 second right off the bat (8.12). So, I had a Scalextric Ford GT40 hanging around, out of round plastic hubs etc..., good...

I once found your web site but then lost it before setting up in my favorites. I found it again and it's safe now.

I live in Easstern Ohio. Here dirt track racing thrives in 1=1 scale. It's also my interest in my slot car hobby. Obviously your web site offers plenty of that. I hope ya'll don't mind if I tag along with your discussions etc. I'm not of your area but maybe I can spread some of the knowledge that's flowing across the BB.

Seeing that the Avalanche was 8 years old and car dealers are desparate, I decided it was time for a new ride (plus it takes the sting out of putting the corvette up for the winter). This is a studio shot but mine looks just like it. Framingham Ford was the only dealer that had one in a 50 mile radius of here. It has every option available but they still gave me a good deal. It rides really nice but loves to go fast without feeling it! Dickie told me Fords were good vehicles to own....

NEC Racing for 2010

What's happened to our NEC racing? Have we lost interest or is there a different format we need to focus on? We should try to get a schedule going for 2010!

Wayne's track will be done shortly so I would like to schedule an "event" in January. We would race on both Wayne's and my track. Anyone interested? Wayne's track.

On behalf of the members of HVSC Id like to say thanks to Rob and Lou and everybody else for organizing this cool event, I had a great time, so did my buddy Jay, I gotta say for his 1st slotcar event he did a great job marshalling. Dickie ran a great race, so did everyone else.

racing 1/24 scale

I've noticed some talk about the 1/24 scale cars and maybe some racing going on friday night's.I'd be interested in some info.The scca cars are of most interest seing I may have one that might fit in that class.I really liked these cars back when we were playing around with them but that kind of faded out. This is something I might be interested in.AW

I would like to thank Dick for the great 8 hours I had to run on his track on Saturday. I had a great time and will be going to the Host races for the rest of the Racing Schedule, And yes I will need to ask Matt to put my track on the list for next year after Judge Raceway.

Racer Sideways DP Class for the NE

Using the Racer National and Regional Races Rules as a starting point, with a few tweaks here and there, would this be a class clubs/people would interested in adding to the NE clubs for a NEC event or another kind of event?

We get to start w/a new class, learn from the past, keep it pretty much stock, AND there are cars being produced, there are currently 4 liveries and a white body, with 2 more liveries on the way! Don't get much better than that!

Nascar weekend

Rolex Grand-Am at Watkins Glen!!!

Hello all. Spent last weekend at Watkins Glen for the Rolex Grand-Am race. As always we had an awesome time. I even got to meet Scott Pruett and Chip Gannassi!! Below you will see me giving Mr. Pruett some pre race advice which of course helped him finally win one this year (yeah right). Anyway the 01 Lexus powered DP dominated the entire race. Scott even broke the track speed record during qualifications on Friday. This track and these cars are just fantastic. For a $20 ticket on race day...
