We ended the year with some good fun, good racing, Christmas cookies and coffee! JT was hot on my heals all night long and Spencer had a real good night keeping the presure on! Thanks to everyone who has raced at Cornerstone this past year, it was a pleasure to host!

Little did I know who was to visit us @ Cornerstone this morning. First Kevin J walks in with Dickie! Sweeeeet! we have racers. Then mid-way through the morning Steve and his son Tommy drop in, MORE racers. We can have teams! And so we did. We ran a heat with NASCAR, then the GT's, then 4 two man teams using the Fly classics IROC style. I think its safe to say a good time was had by all! Thanks guys for coming!

Guys -

I originally planned to open up the track for tuning in preparation for NEEC 2009 but the organizers have surprisingly decided to cancel that event.

And to think I built a nice GT car that's been running in the 6.4 - 6.5 range on the blue lane!

We had 4 members show last night to run the new and improved (hopefully) Cornerstone Raceway, Brian, Roy, BobB and BobM. We had 4 races - NASCAR/JGTC/GT/NASCAR and the results were pretty impressive. In all 4 races the difference between 1st and 2nd place was 1 lap or less, in one race it was less than 1 foot! The difference between 2nd and 3rd was 1 or 2 laps. It was very encouraging that we stayed on the track more often last night, WAY less track calls, which lead to very close and...

We had five Nerf Racers at Matt's Lakeside track on Saturday 2/28; Matt, Bob M.,Roy, Bob B. and Brian. I had brought a music CD of the Revells playing Slot Car tunes but when Matt put it in his track PC it went to the blue screen of death. Bummer. I was absolved of blame but still feel guiltly. But we got around to some spirited 6 lap Crash and Burn racing that was a lot of fun...you can go from first to last in a nerf second. The new Racer Sideways cars are proving to be a fast, fun...

hey im about half hour away from holliston and would love to race. i've raced 1/24 off and on but got hooked on 1/32s when i went to pa for an interview. i have a couple carrera le mans cars which were pretty good on the track and stunning bodies. you guys don't race enough, lol. i drive an hour nearly every week to race mini-zs at 1 of 2 peoples houses with 4 guys, maybe slot cars aren't quite as fun. i work sat morning but i can come to that one on jan. 6 i think is said....

WOW! a great night of racing, 6 NERF members showed up. We raced JGTC's, NASCAR and GT classes. I, BobM, tried my newly setup Ford GT in the JGTC class, it did pretty well, I feel the JGTC's corner a bit better though.

3 minute round-robin heats, driver/number of laps. For Matt's two win's, he went home with the SCC set of 17X10 hubs - very nice! Hubs courtesy of Steve Sawtelle of SCC, thanks Steve
