I didn't see a post anywhere, so I thought I'd start one.

I just wanted to thank all of the HVSC members for hosting a fantastic race. I had a great time and had been anticipating the event for weeks. It was BETTER than I could ever have imagined.

The Fantastic Fast track was a joy to run on and the vintage cars were so nice to see running around the track, sometimes door handle to door handle for several laps. The qualification runs and team selection was a great...

Hey guys, we would like to invite racers to attend an upcoming event at HVSC on our 4 lane Ogilvie in Cortland Manor NY. It will be an enduro style event for 60s and 70s LeMans cars made by Fly and Scaly. We are limiting to these 2 brands to make it a little easier in car selection. Basically, any car that ran a 24hr of LeMans is eligible, Ferrarris, GT40s, Porsches etc. We would like to get enough racers so we could have 2 man teams. Guys, Dave Kennedy needs our help. He's trying to convince SCX that their current crop of Nascar, GT and LMP cars should all get the RX42"B" motors...

Dec. 21 race report

Don and I fought the snow to get to Rick's house for some racen. Charlie couldn't make it he was missed(truck problems). First up was the Racer race. Rick's 275P edged out my LM250, Don's LM250 came in third.

We were down a racer (Rick) for the 1st two heats, he had family over, but he did make it downstairs for the Slotit race, which he won using his Slotit controller. We did a little testing of our controllers, I was consistently getting beat down the straight with cars I knew were as fast or faster than others being raced, well we found out why, when tested with the meter my DiFalco was only showing 9.5 volts at the rails when all other controllers were showing 10.3 or more with the trigger...

Comaro flair kit project

I've been working on this project, reminiscent of the flair body kits from the late 70's /early 80's. I'm not sure if this project will be done in time for the proxy race. At any rate I thought it would be cool to do a flair body.

Sunday racing

HVSC got together this past Sun and had some good racin, we did 3 classes, JGTC, stock Slotit and a class we started a few weeks ago using front motored cars, mainly Fly cars such as Vettes, BMWs and Panoz, we relocate the motors to the rear using the Scaly slim motor found in the new Scaly F1 cars, its proven to be very popular, and a well setup car can run very good times, Rick decided to try the mod out on a Scaly Viper and he pretty much blew us away, he had the right setup and the car...
