Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! To Bob, Christian, Dickie, Steve, and everyone who attended for making the 3rd NEEC Race another fantastic event. It could not have been done better. The beautiful location of Bob's house , the great tracks, Christians awesome "race plan", the delicious food, and the fun and competitive racing was first class as always! I look forward to future fun events!! You guys are the BEST!!

Yes, you have read correctly. I have talked w/Marc about stepping in and he gave me the go ahead. I'm trying to keep this event at the same dates that were originally posted.

CARS: (rules posted below)
GT - based on Host rules
NASCAR - Shoreline rules
JGTC - NERF rules (you can add a piece of styrene to stabilize the front axle, as we currently do on the Slot.it's, but NO AXLE BLOCKS, at this time)

I hate to ask this but I found out, due to family commitments, July 25th weekend really doesn't work all that well for me. It would be a lot easier if I could hold the race the next weekend, August 1. Is that at all possible? I know everyone is thinging the 25th but.... Could the change happen?

Some have asked me to host the NEEC at Deer Meadow. I'm willing to do it but I need all the help that is available. My basement can handle 20 racers without a problem. If we have more than that I'll need a second track setup in the garage. We can get Dickie's old track, the one used at NEC 10 held at Deer Meadow a couple years ago.

If this is agreeable then we'll use...

NEEC Plan B has reached a dead end

Hey guys we have not been able to reach Lou at Grand Prix so we may have to go to a plan C.

I might be able to arrange to hold an NEEC race at Grand Prix Model Raceway near Albany NY. Lou has several large Oglive tracks including timing systems etc. and the place is large enough to handle our crew. He currently host regular races there for those 1/24 flying wedges with the sponge tire classes.I think he has an adjustable power supply. I visited him once 2 or 3 years...
