Yes, it's true. There will now be a minimum weight rule for the Street Stockers, as well as where you are allowed to place the weight depending on what
body you are running.
It's been discussed at the last few races, especially since we've seen a big increase in the use of the Boss Bodies, which tend to be lighter than the plastic bodies.
So starting at the next race, we will now enforce a minimum weight of 2.3 oz for ALL cars. 2.3 oz is very close to 65 grams for those who prefer the weird way of weighing things...
Also (and pay attention here!), if you are running a Boss Body shell, any weight you add (and you will have to) MUST be placed on the topside of the chassis.
If you are running a genuine plastic body shell, then you may add weight to either the topside, or on the bottom side of the chassis if you wish. Or if your body is heavy enough, you don't have to add any weight...
Ok Rick, you now have nearly a full month to get the cars ready. So if your cars are underweight this time.....
