The block of rooms that were put aside for NEC 13 at Hotel Ambassadeur are going to be released to the general public on July 25th (that's tomorrow at the time I'm writing this). So, if you haven't made your reservation yet for NEC 13, it's time to do so NOW. The rates are going up on July 26th so don't miss the deadline. You will find all the information on the NEC 13 website. Don't miss this event, this will be a very different one, and a fun one in one of the most beautiful cities in North America. Paul McCartney was here 3 days ago for a mega-show celebrating the 400th birthday of the city and it was a roaring success. Over 250 000 people in the crowd, it was wild!! Christian

Posts: 159 (07/27/08 12:21:19) Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Some of the NEEC 2008 attendees expressed to me some worries about finding hotel accomodations in Québec for NEC 13. Yes, it's true that's it's difficult to find a hotel room in Québec City in July and August, with the 400th birthday of the city and all the activities that are taking place this summer. But even though the big hotels will probably still be pretty full at the end of September, it will be a lot easier to find rooms in smaller hotels (a lot of them are located in the eastern part of the city, where NEC 13 will take place). Don't hesitate to communicate with me if you need help finding something. I have found a nice B&B for some NERF guys and there are plenty of possibilities for you as well. I know the gas prices are up and that the US economy is not at its best right now. But do what we do when we go race with you. Get together and share cars and hotel rooms, it's really not that expensive. This is a nice opportunity for a lot of you to come see for the first time the oldest and one of the most beautiful cities in North America. Christian NEC 13 website

We were in a small Suzuki Aerio this past weekend and we were confortable. 4 people. Anything can do.
